This page explains how to delete your account for the Movari app, published by Mooidev Ltd, and what happens to your data when you do.
2. How to Delete Your Account
In the app: open the You tab, tap the settings icon, then scroll to Delete Account. If you’re the only admin of a club, you’ll choose a member to take over. Type DELETE to confirm, and your account is deleted straight away.
By email, if you can’t sign in:
- Email help@getmovari.com from the email address you use to sign in to Movari, with the subject “Movari account deletion request”.
- If you’re the only admin of a club, tell us which member should take over as admin. If the club has no other members, the club will be deleted along with your account.
- We may reply to confirm the request came from you. We’ll then delete your account and confirm by email once it’s done, within 30 days of your request.
3. Data We Delete
- Your account and login details (name, email address, password).
- Your profile, including your avatar photo and any bio, phone number, gender or birth date you added.
- Your club memberships, meeting and event RSVPs, poll votes, check-ins and streaks.
- Your notifications, notification preferences and device push tokens.
4. Data We Keep
- Clubs you admin: handed over to the admin you choose, so the club carries on for its other members.
- Club gallery photos you uploaded:stay in the club’s gallery for its members, with your name removed. If you’d like a specific photo removed, include it in your request.
- Meetings and events you created: stay with the club, shown as created by a former member.
- Backups and legal records: any copies in routine backups are overwritten within 30 days. We only keep anything longer where the law requires it, or to resolve a dispute or security issue.
5. Deleting Some Data Only
To remove specific data without deleting your account, such as your avatar or a gallery photo of you, email help@getmovari.com and tell us what you’d like removed.
